Files are private by default.
Supported formats are PDF, PNG, and JPEG, with a 10 MiB upload limit.
Upload and wait for scanning
A saved upload is not yet a readable document. File bytes, MIME, extension, size, and hash must agree. Scanner errors or failed PDF analysis keep access closed.
Preview without active PDF content
PDF previews are raster images. Embedded files, JavaScript, launch actions, unknown analysis, and malformed structures are blocked. Old clean metadata does not bypass current inspection.
Archive before deletion
Archiving removes normal file access and preserves the record. Permanent deletion requires expired retention, no legal hold, and independent authorization. A sole founder cannot self-approve deletion.
Keep an audit trail
Open a document record to inspect lifecycle events. A retained audit record is not proof that a backup or restore has been verified.
